COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION
(EU) No 2015/1998 of 05 Nov 2015 (effective 01 Feb 2016) laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security.
Effective 1st July 2014, Air carriers affected by (EU) 185/2010 are required to be designated as an ACC3 by the administering Member State appropriate authority.
Third country entities have also the option to become part of an ACC3’s secure supply chain by seeking designation as an RA3 (Regulated Agent) and a KC3 (Known Consignor) in a third country that is validated and approved as such on the basis of an EU aviation security validation.
